With the 2010 Super 14 upon us the Bulls will have a lot to prove this year. After the dismal showing in 2008 the Bulls will look to retain the title which they won in 2009. In 2008 they struggled, a factor that played a major role was the appointment of a new coach and the loss of key players. With a Super 14 and Currie Cup title in 2009 Frans Ludeke can proudly say he is one of the most successful coaches in South Africa.
Heyneke Meyer has joined up with the Bulls again and together with Ludeke the Bulls can now begin their domination of South African rugby. The start their campaign of with a mach against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Friday night. The Cheetahs will again probably bring up the rear of the log but a local derby always makes for some interesting rugby. A good performance by the Bulls on Friday will surely lay the platform for a good season.
