The news this week from the ARU has announced that they have relaxed the quota of foreign players for next years Super 15. The ARU policy on foreign players has always been restricted to 2 but the new Melbourne team has been allowed a further 8 signings of overseas players. This makes one wonder how they could have been so adamant in getting the new team to be based in Australia if they cant even field enough local players. This on the other hand again might again give some players from other countries the chance to experience Super Rugby.
