The former Bulls and Springbok hooker Gary Botha has signed for the Bulls until 2011. London Harlequins have agreed to release him from his contract after his last game for them on the weekend. After having signed a the deal with the Bulls he had the following to say :
“The game is different in the Northern Hemisphere and it was good to experience something of it, but I can’t wait to pull on the Bulls jersey.
“I am a Blue Bull through and through, I’ve been playing for the union since I was 12, and what we’ve got at Loftus is certainly something very special.
“The Bulls truly are a family and I undoubtedly missed that.”
“I will be arriving in the country on Wednesday with my rugby boots and I am fit and eager to play!”
He will be eligible for the Bulls last match before the semi finals against the Leopards but he will unfortunately not be eligible for the playoffs seeing that a player has to have played at least 3 games for the union in the competition.

Goeie werk!!! Hou by die BLOU!!!
