Force’s Pretorius DUD
The Western Force’s Super 14 has not yet begun, but their signing of Andre Pretorius has already made them red in the face. Pretorius who has only played 40 minutes of rugby in their warm up matches has again injured himself. On Wednesday he complained off a stiff hamstring but further tests revealed the his hamstring has in fact been torn from the bone.
Pretorius will now have to undergo surgery to fix the problem and he will be out for about 3 months. He will miss the entire Super 14 season and head to Japan where he also signed a deal to play after the Super 14 has finished. His career has been littered with a catalogue of ankle, knee and hamstring injuries – which has meant he has not completed a full season of rugby for the past five years.

Ek wonder wat het hulle gedink toe hulle hom gekoop het, hy was seker baie cheap of hulle het n deal gemaak dat hulle vir die volgende 3 jaar teen die Lions moet wen!
