Currie Cup Round 10

With the Currie Cup round 10 played this weekend we look at the results from the weekend. On Friday the Griquas took on the Boland Cavaliers in Wellington with a hope of keeping their playoff spot. They did this with a bonus point in a  31-23 win. In the other match played on Friday the Lions eased passed the Leopards 31-13 in Johannesburg. On Saturday the Cheetahs did their playoff hopes the world of good after they defeated the Western Province in a thrilling match in Bloemfontein and moved them into 4th place on the log. In the last match on Saturday the Argentine Juan Martin Hernandez put on a excellent performance for the Sharks as they downed a brave Bulls side by 29-23 at Loftus in Pretoria.

With the Springboks expected back in coming weeks one begins to feel the pressure mounting as the competition starts to get to the business end.
