The West Indies Cricket Board have switched the fifth one-day international and first Test of South Africa’s tour from Jamaica to Trinidad because of violent unrest in Kingston.
The matches, originally scheduled for Sabina Park on June 3 and June 10-14 respectively, will now take place at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain on the same dates.
A state of emergency is in operation in the Jamaican capital Kingston after four days of fighting between security forces and supporters of a fugitive alleged drug lord left almost 50 people dead.
South Africa currently lead the five-match one-day series 2-0 ahead of the third instalment at Windsor Park, Dominica on May 28.
The one-dayers are followed by three Tests.
